Introducing Winter Markets by request!
We will extend the regular season by offering monthly markets the 3rd Saturday of every month from November 2011 through April 2012, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This Market will be held at the Howland S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 8273 High Street. This is located at 8273 High Street between the Howland Administration Building and the Howland Schools Bus Garage. Vendors must provide their own table. Because space is limited consideration will be given to having the greatest diversity of product available to customers. Vendor Applications are now available!
The Howland Farmers Market gives local and regional growers and food producers the opportunity to market their farm fresh items and value added products directly to consumers. Now in its fifth year, the market is well recognized and enjoyed by the community. Our market is dedicated to providing a bounty of nutritious foods grown by local or regional growers with a selection of non-food items. Our market will strive to meet the economic needs of participating vendors, the health of the local community, and long term sustainability of the land by creating a successful local market.
