Recycling Containers

Howland, in cooperation with the Howland Branch of the Warren-Trumbull Library and the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District, has arranged for a recycling container to be placed in the rear parking lot of the Howland Branch Library on East Market Street. The container, which is the third container site in the Township, will be available for drop-offs 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Newspaper, glass bottles and jars, aluminum beverage cans, tin food cans, and #1 and #2 plastics may be placed in the bin. NO styrofoam, plastic bags, cardboard, old clothes, furniture, or tires should be placed in the bin.

The other recycling containers are located behind the Howland High School parking lot off of Willow Drive NE and the Morgandale Fire Station on Wilson Avenue.

In addition, the Howland Recycling Center on North Road is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM., and is a full-service recycling site. The drop-off recycling containers are totally funded and provided by the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District.
