3-feet Bicycle Law

Governor Kasich signed HB 154 on December 19, 2016.  The law became effective today.  The law provides that motorists must give bicyclist at least three feet of clearance when passing bicyclists.  The law also permits bicyclist and motorists to treat inoperable traffic signals as stop signs.  WKBN covered the improvements to the law on its Sunday morning news program.  Here is a link to the story:  http://wkbn.com/2017/03/19/new-ohio-law-requires-drivers-to-leave-3-feet-of-space-when-passing-cyclists/
